It is the time of year where weather closings are a reality. As a reminder of our club policy, SMF does NOT follow Knoxville County Public School’s closure schedule. Our goal is to remain open as much as we are able and leave the decision to attend class up to each fencer’s own comfort. The staff at SMF recognize that our students travel from differing distances to train with us. If you do not feel safe traveling during a weather event, we respect your decision to err on the side of caution .

In the event that SMF is required to have an unplanned closure, we will make an announcement on the website (here), on social media (Facebook & Instagram), as well as send out a mass email.
